Samastipur (Bihar): The police in Singhia police station area of the district have taken major action and arrested two accused with illegal weapons.
According to the information received, the police conducted a raid in Salha village under Singhia police station based on a secret tip-off. During the raid, two individuals were caught with a country-made pistol.
The arrested accused have been identified as Sachin Yadav, son of Dilip Yadav, and Rajesh Sahu, son of Sato Sahu, both residents of Salha village.
Station House Officer Shyam Kumar Mehta confirmed the incident and stated that the action was taken on Tuesday night after receiving confidential information. During the investigation, the information was found to be accurate, following which both accused were arrested.
The police have registered a case against both under the Arms Act. On Wednesday, both accused were sent to judicial custody.
