But they can be so in your face that it appears to be arrogance or attention seeking. Lovers love their giving, warm nature; non-lovers say a need for attention can get under their skin. Aries: Brave or Foolhardy? Aries is the first of the signs of the zodiac and it is associated with energy, courage and initiative. Their impulsive and quick-tempered nature often leads them into controversial territory, however. Some see Aries people as fearless trailblazers, others as confrontational and impatient.
