Akshay Kumar‘s ‘Bhooth Bangla’ has completed two weeks at the theaters. The movie crossed the Rs 200 crore worldwide mark in 14 days at the cinemas. The arrival of new movies this Friday in cinema halls has affected the box office number of the horror comedy. It witnessed a dip in its weekend score in collections. However, it did manage to earn a good amount, which will add to the film’s overall earnings.
‘Bhooth Bangla’ box office collection Day 15
The Priyadarshan directorial raked in Rs 84.40 crore and Rs 43.75 crore in week 1 and week 2, respectively. Now, according to the Sacnilk report, on Day 15, the Akshay Kumar starrer collected a net of Rs 4.50 crore across 4,807 shows.This represents a 28.6% growth as compared to its Day 14 box office score of Rs 3.50 crore.Meanwhile, with that, the total India gross collection of the film has reached Rs 157.55 crore, and the total India net collections are Rs 132.65 crore.

Worldwide collection of ‘Bhooth Bangla’
Akshay Kumar’s horror comedy had minted over Rs 100 crore worldwide in just four days of its release and crossed the Rs 200 crore mark globally in two weeks. Now, on Day 15, the Priyadarshan-directed film raked in Rs 1.25 crore in the overseas market, pushing its total gross overseas collection to Rs 53.50 crore. With that, the worldwide gross collection of the film now stands at Rs 211.05 crore.
Box office competition
The Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan collaboration project is now facing competition from Ritiesh Deshmukh’s ambitious project, ‘Raja Shivaji’, and the Junaid Khan and Sai Pallavi starrer ‘Ek Din’. Meanwhile, people are also watching the biopic on Michael Jackson titled ‘Michael’ and Ranveer Singh’s ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ in theaters.
