The High Court of Judicature at Allahabad is set to close the online application process for Review Officer (RO), Assistant Review Officer (ARO), and Computer Assistant posts today, June 21, 2026. The recruitment drive is being conducted under Advertisement No. 02/ Review Officer/ Assistant Review Officer/ Computer Assistant/ 2026 and aims to fill a total of 543 vacancies in the court establishment.The notification for the recruitment exercise was released on June 1, 2026, following which the online registration process commenced the same day. Eligible candidates who have not yet submitted their applications can complete the process through the prescribed online mode before the registration window closes.Vacancy distribution across postsA total of 543 vacancies have been announced through the recruitment drive. Of these, 138 posts are for Review Officer, 380 for Assistant Review Officer, and 25 for Computer Assistant. The recruitment is being conducted by the High Court of Judicature at Allahabad.Candidates applying for any of the three posts must possess a graduation degree along with an ‘O’ Level computer course qualification. The prescribed eligibility criteria also require English typing speed of 25 words per minute and knowledge of computer operations.Age criteria and application feeFor Review Officer and Assistant Review Officer posts, applicants must be between 21 and 35 years of age. For the Computer Assistant post, the age requirement is 18 to 35 years. Age will be calculated with reference to July 1, 2026. Relaxation in the upper age limit will be applicable according to prescribed rules.The application fee for candidates belonging to the General, Unreserved and OBC categories has been fixed at Rs 1,200. Candidates from SC, ST and EWS categories of Uttar Pradesh are required to pay Rs 1,000.Selection process and important datesThe selection process consists of a written examination, followed by a skill test comprising typing and computer proficiency assessment. Candidates qualifying these stages will be called for document verification and medical examination.While the last date to submit online applications is June 21, 2026, the fee payment facility will remain available until June 22, 2026. A correction window notice has been scheduled for June 24 and June 25, 2026. The examination date has not yet been announced and will be notified separately by the High Court.
