KCET hall ticket 2026: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has issued an important advisory for candidates appearing in the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2026. A day after releasing the hall tickets, the authority warned students about fake admit card links being circulated on social media.In a post shared on its official X (formerly Twitter) account, KEA said that some miscreants have created fraudulent links claiming that candidates can download their hall tickets through them. These fake links are being used to collect students’ personal information.The authority has urged candidates to stay cautious and avoid clicking on such links. Students have been advised to download their hall tickets only from the official KEA website.The advisory was issued by H. Prasanna, Executive Director of KEA. Part of the post, originally shared in Kannada, said that the link being circulated is fake and hall tickets cannot be downloaded through it.
KCET 2026 : Exam dates and timing
The KCET 2026 examination will be conducted on April 23 and April 24, 2026. The exam will be held in two shifts, each lasting 1 hour and 20 minutes.Morning shift is from 10:30 am to 11:50 am and the afternoon shift is from 2:30 pm to 3:50 pm. Candidates are advised to check their admit cards carefully for exam day instructions and reporting time.

Candidates can follow the steps below to download their hall tickets:
- Visit the official website which is cetonline.karnataka.gov.in
- Then click on the “KCET Admit Card 2026” link on the homepage
- Proceed to enter your application number and password
- The hall ticket will appear on the screen
- Download and take a printout for future use
