Angelina Jolie’s six childen may have distanced themselves from their dad Brad Pitt, but according to the latest reports, Pax Jolie-Pitt, contines to maintain ties with his extended family.Page Six reports that Pax recently attended a family gathering celebrating the engagement of his cousin, Sydney Pitt, to Archimede Jerome. The event was attended by several members of Brad’s family, including the actor’s sister, Julie Pitt Neal, as well as niece Reagan Pitt and other relatives. The publication claims that while the other kids seemed to have distanced themselves from the actor, Pax remains in contact with relatives on his father’s side of the family.The development comes amid reports of tensions brewing between Pitt and his children, following his messy divorce from ex-wife Angelina Jolie. Over the past couple of months, Zahara, Shiloh, Maddox, Knox and Vivienne have all reportedly taken steps to drop “Pitt” from their names. If not going the legal route, the kids have reportedly dropped ‘Pitt’ from their surnames in their school and work profiles.Pax has been in the news over the past years, following his series of electric bike accidents in Los Angeles. Last year, the 21-year-old made headlines after being involved in an e-bike incident. According to reports, he was riding the same model of electric bike that previously landed him in the hospital after colliding with a parked Chevrolet vehicle. At the time, Pax’s collision resulted in significant injuries and led to his hospitalisation in an intensive care unit.Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s lengthy divorce proceedings which began in 2016, were finalised after years of legal battles. The couple continue to battle it out over the sale of their French vineyard.
